John Taylor

Project Lead – Content, Curriculum and Infrastructure

John has worked in a large number of public and private organisations over the past 20 years. He has gained extensive practical experience of applying new technologies to the acquisition of knowledge and skills especially in the areas of e-learning and e-learning platforms. John has many years of programme and project management experience as well as leading on a range of business change projects implementing new working procedures and formalising working practices.

Jason Fletcher

Content Engineer

Jason originally studied to be a primary school teacher and taught for several years at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, including a two year stint as a computer teacher in a maximum security prison. After he was paroled for good behaviour, Jason joined the state government of Victoria in Australia, looking after three ministers and the senior directors’ IT support, as well as heading up the department’s computer training team. In 2000 Jason immigrated to the United Kingdom, gaining employment as an e-learning developer for one of the country’s leading High Street fashion retailers. Jason joined the RITI project in March 2005.

Roger Jay

Content Engineer

Roger is the Content Engineer with responsibilities for the North of England. For the last 15 years he has been working in the aviation industry producing computer based training and elearning. During that time he has run training courses in Instructional Design and Authoring Software as well as developing a large number of elearning modules.

Martin Sinclair

Content Engineer

Martin brings 7 years experience of designing and developing e-learning to the RITI project. Prior to joining, he developed learning content for a variety of clients such as Dell, Mazda and EDS in the private sector and UKeU, Network Rail and Ofcom in the public sector. He is familiar with the whole Macromedia range of development tools as well as web-native technologies such as html. He can build content according to SCORM and AICC interoperability standards and has worked with a range of LMSs, including Oracle iLearning and Giunti’s Learn eXact. He has been to both companies’ HQs to meet the development teams in Redwood Shores, California, and Sestri Levante, Italy.

Andy Watts

Content Engineer (Scotland)

Andy was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he lived, studied and worked before heading south to seek pastures new. He started his career in engineering and then later moved into computing where he gained a BSc in Computer Studies and an MSc in Multimedia Technology. Andy has worked on many multimedia, internet and e-learning related projects where his role has included design, development, project management and consultancy. Andy is a keen traveller and has spent many years travelling the world. Other interests include Ecology, Environment, Life Coaching/NLP and France where he now has a house.

Jon Turner

Content Engineer

Jon was born and educated in Oxford. After gaining a degree in architecture Jon went on to work with an eLearning consultancy firm in London where he managed large scale projects for blue chip clients. Back in Oxford, he continued to work within the eLearning sector as a freelance consultant and then founded Oxford eLearning in 2003. Since then I have worked on many eLearning projects in pharmaceutical, telecommunications, aviation and healthcare industries.
